Get Started

The Wizard Window

Open the Wizard from:

GameObject > 3D Object > Polaris > Terrain Wizard

It is the main hub for creating terrains, migrating from Unity Terrain, importing external data, and opening Polaris tools.

Other entry points

Besides the Wizard, Polaris also adds a few menu locations in the editor:

GameObject > 3D Object > Polaris

Add Polaris terrain tool objects to the scene.

Assets > Create > Polaris

Create Polaris data assets.

Edit > Project Settings > Polaris

Adjust settings and advanced options.

Window > Polaris

Open additional Polaris tools.

Sample scenes

Sample scenes are useful when you want to inspect a finished terrain setup and see how Polaris content is organized in a real project.

Choose your starting path

Terrain from scratch

Use this path if you want to create a new Polaris terrain and shape it inside Polaris from the beginning.
