Get Started
The Wizard Window
Open the Wizard from:
GameObject > 3D Object > Polaris > Terrain Wizard
It is the main hub for creating terrains, migrating from Unity Terrain, importing external data, and opening Polaris tools.

Other entry points
Besides the Wizard, Polaris also adds a few menu locations in the editor:
GameObject > 3D Object > Polaris
Add Polaris terrain tool objects to the scene.
Assets > Create > Polaris
Create Polaris data assets.
Edit > Project Settings > Polaris
Adjust settings and advanced options.
Window > Polaris
Open additional Polaris tools.
Sample scenes
Sample scenes are useful when you want to inspect a finished terrain setup and see how Polaris content is organized in a real project.

Choose your starting path
Terrain from scratch
Use this path if you want to create a new Polaris terrain and shape it inside Polaris from the beginning.
Next: Create terrain game objects
Migrate from Unity Terrain
Use this path if you already have one or more Unity Terrains and want to convert them into Polaris terrain data.

Import data from other software
Use this path if your terrain source comes from heightmaps, texture sets, or mesh data exported from other tools.
